The DemoStar™ program is sponsored and managed by Instarsat as a part of the company's self-funded product development program. The objective of this unique program is to space qualify all of the product specific bus subsystems. Each product specific mission will demonstrate successful on-orbit operations of a fully integrated baseline bus product. Four representative bus products will be flown, tested, and verified on-oribt. The program goal is to yield in-flight spacecraft bus subsystems performance and operational data that establishes hardware heritage and produces enhancements to further product design and development efforts. This unique and very robust product-testing program allows our customers to incorporate, with a high degree of confidence, any one of our space qualified fully integrated bus products into their future mission designs.
